A common myth in the auto detailing industry is that chemically potent car wash products can aggressively attack dirt and grime, while eco friendly car wash supplies are too “mild” or “soft” for the job. Unfortunately, the residue of these chemicals are left on the surfaces of a vehicle even after washing and drying. Thus, they can still affect you and others potentially riding in your vehicle. As for the environment, toxic wastewater from a car wash can contaminate storm drains and waterways. Unbeknownst to you, this toxic water is killing off aquatic plants and life. Using eco-friendly products are an excellent way to do your part in protecting your loved ones and the environment from harmful, harsh byproducts of cleaning and protecting your vehicle.
